Winter at Caldera de Taburiente National Park
MAGIC (Major Atmospheric Gamma Imaging Cherenkov Telescopes) is a system of two Imaging Atmospheric Cherenkov telescopes situated at the Roque de Los Muchachos (ORM).
MAGIC detects particle showers released by gamma rays, using the Cherenkov radiation.
MAGIC. With a diameter of 17 meters for the reflecting surface, is the largest telescope in use on ORM
The Gran Telescopio Canarias or GTC. It's is a 10.4 m (410 in) reflecting telescope located at the Roque de los Muchachos Observatory (ORM) on the island of La Palma.
